ARCADE has gone through a period of organisational growth since incorporating in 2019 and we are now able to increase our staff capacity.
Co-Director, Sophie Drury-Bradey will be on maternity leave from June 2023 for 11 months, so we are now looking for an experienced Executive Producer to join our team, with the potential to continue in the same role until March 2026.
The Exec Producer will be able to confidently lead and produce a range of ARCADE’s projects, overseeing junior members of our team and freelance artists to deliver high quality work with young people, schools and our communities.
They will develop partnerships and nurture existing relationships, as well as managing and supporting junior team members. The Exec Producer will work closely with Co-Director Rach Drew, supporting her to steer the organisation through its first year as an NPO. This will include organisational development work focused on access, inclusion and evaluation.
This is an opportunity to develop and strengthen your leadership skills whilst working in a varied and practical role as part of a small producing company. There will be plenty of on the ground delivery in our communities, alongside some company operational work.
If you are passionate and committed to working in a place-based way, bringing world class artists together with communities to co-create high quality work for local audiences, this could be the role for you. If you are thinking about setting up your own company in the future, this role could give you the insight and experience to take that next step.
Place of work: Woodend Creative Centre, Scarborough. To apply you should be based in or live within commuting distance of Scarborough, or be willing to relocate. Ideally you’d drive and have access to a car. We would be happy to discuss this role as a secondment opportunity.
Closing date: 23 January 2023.
